Blessing Baskets

Blessing Baskets is a huge service opportunity in the life of our church. This is our 18^th year! In those 18 years, we as a church have helped more than 26,000 families and seen nearly 1000 baptisms. This is amazing!! It is a few days were we as a church have the opportunity to really minister to and help those in our community. You actually get to see the faces and know the names of those in need, spiritually and physically.

Last year we distributed just over 3300 bags with 300 of that being vouchers. This is what our church is about!! Reaching all people and helping them with their basic needs, as well as feeding their soul. Doug Sarver is our Missions Minister and not only will he love on people, he will be preaching the word of God to them. For some of the people that walk through our doors this is the first time that they have heard the Good News!! We want to be a loving church. We want to be a serving church. We want to be a place for all people to come and feel safe and get nourished through food and through the powerful love of Christ. Please serve with us!!

Sunday, November 15

INVITE - Blessing Baskets Blitz Day
This will be done through our Connection Group Ministry

Saturday, November 21

PREPARE - Assembly Day – CPH
9 a.m. in the parking lot at the CPH campus to assemble 4,000 Blessing Baskets for both locations.

Sunday, November 22

BLESS – Distribution Day – CPH Location
Guests will attend a service at 3 p.m.

Volunteers needed beginning at 1:00 p.m. (including Childcare, Bag Carrying, Registration, etc.)

□ All Day □ 1:00p.m. – 2:30p.m. (Set-up) □ 3p.m. – 7p.m.

Monday, November 23

BLESS – Distribution Day – FBC Springdale
Guests attend services at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Volunteers needed throughout the day, beginning at 8 a.m. (including Childcare, Bag Carrying, Registration, etc.)

□ All Day □ 8a.m. – 10a.m. (Set-up) □ 10a.m. – 2p.m. (12p.m. Service)

□ 5p.m. – 9p.m. (6p.m. Service)

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Pray: For a harvest of souls
For lives to be changed

Give: Sponsor a family with a $25 donation to “Reaching our Mission.” Our Goal is 4,000 families. This ministry is supported entirely by the generous giving of our members. Register by Monday, November 23rd. If you would rather send in a check, please make check payable to FBC, memo: Reaching Our Mission. Each basket we give out will include non-perishable foods for 2-3 meals, meats, bread, eggs, and a bag of fruit.
