The Great Date Experiment

Welcome to the Great Date Experiment!  This experiment is for all married couples, whether you are from Northwest Arkansas or not.  We realize that the longer you are married, the more difficult it becomes to come up with good date ideas for a night out with your spouse.  With the help of our friends from North Point Community Church, we will be rolling out six planned- out dates over the next few months for you and your spouse to go on.  All you need to do is download the date idea from this page, print it out, and you will be on your way to an amazing time with your spouse.  Make sure and follow the directions carefully without skipping ahead!  Along the way, we would love to hear about your dates by emailing us at datestory@fbcs.net and we will post some of the best stories here on this website.

Great Date Downloads

Great Date #5 is a little different because it is an MP3 audio download. Please right click on the downloads and listen to the audio. Track 1 will give you a small detail about what is on tracks 2, 3, and 4. Choose the option that is the most relevant to your marriage. Follow all the instructions and have a blast on your date!!

Great Date #6

All of these dates have led up to this one- Finish Strong!!  We hope these dates have brought you and your spouse closer and you two have talked about things that normally you would not have.  The goal is to learn about one another, see each other differently, and accept and cherish both of you individually as well as the ‘WE’ you created.  Please note that on page 5 of this download it says to send in your stories to a web address.  Just disregard this address and send it to datestory@fbcs.net.  We saved the best for last, so have a blast on your date!! Oh Yeah!!!

    I’m looking forward to going on these special Date Nights! It sounds like a wonderful way to “Spice” up our dating nights and rekindle some of the romance we may have lost after having children.
    I’m checking into getting registered for this Neat Experiment! Can’t wait!

    Jeff made all the plans this time. We want take turns and make it as fun and different as possible, we don’t want to get stuck in a rut. We have NEVER been blessed with such a unique situation to be able to go on a date with childcare included.

    He took me to the Powerhouse! GREAT food. We love food too much to let a server pick our entrees, so we played a different game. She definately was excited to participate and so we gave her a few other options. We let her have 3 questions to figure out what appetizers we wanted to eat. She picked Jeff’s, but not mine. So she won an extra $5. We also told her she could win $10 more if she figured out, during the time we were there, how many kids we had or what their sexes were. (Because two of our kids’ names could be either boy or girl. She had so many ques. she could ask and she did eaves drop quite a bit. BUT she didn’t figure out either of them. Go figure, don’t we look like we have four (almost five) girls.

    Our pix are Jeff’s typical sense of humor, his crab claw pinching my finger. And me feeding him MY chocolate covered strawberries. Had LOTS of fun! Now I gotta figure out how to post these pix.

    Annie and I had a great time on Date 1, we double dated with Brian and Debra Smith. We sat thru one stop light 4 times, it was great. Looking forward to Date 2, with the Smiths.
