Can you believe it? Easter is five weeks away! We are making preparations to make this the greatest Easter week in the history of our church. This year we are going to be more intentional than ever in taking the message of the Gospel to our community. We believe this is an innovative way for us to touch thousands of people across our region. We are calling this new approach, “Easter in the Community.”

Here’s the plan: The week of March 29 – April 4, we want to hold Easter services all over this region in every imaginable place possible. We want to be in businesses, nursing homes, hospitals, and any other place that will allow us to hold a brief Easter service. Our pastors will be completely devoted to leading and preaching these services throughout the week.

What can you do? Commit to hold one of these brief Easter services in your workplace. What a great way this is for you to step up and step out as a devoted follower of Christ. If you would like to have a pastor come and lead one of these services at your place of business, nursing home, hospital, etc., email easter@fbcs.net. One of our pastors will be contacted and will help you work out details for your specific Easter service.

Why are we doing this? It’s all about Jesus. We are simply trying to do everything we can to get the message of Easter and the hope that it brings to as many people as possible. We believe this will get us in front of thousands of people in our community who need Jesus. Will you join us on this journey?
